With the cats in the title of the blog, they have to have their own feature, right? Let me introduce these two:
Kirby (AKA Kirb, Kirb-Kirb, Kirb-a-lurb, Kirbster) is the leader of the animal pack here. He’s 14 (?) years old and still as spry as when I picked him up at 6 months old from the Humane Society in Westport, CT. He’s as laid back and sweet as any cat I’ve ever met. He loves being held up against your shoulder like a baby and drinking from the faucets. If you’re a little slow getting him his water, don’t worry, he’ll remind you ’till you give in.
Ollie (AKA Olly-ball, Olli-ballie, Oll, White Cat, Crazy) is the trouble maker. We’ve had him for a couple years when he was dropped off by a family member to “watch” while on vacation. He’s still here a few years later and we’re so glad. We don’t really now how old he is but we think around 5. He’s prone to “the crazies”, loves milk rings, prefers to sleep up by my head and has the sweetest little meow that doesn’t match his mischievous personality.
You’ll be seeing more of these guys. I’m dangerously close to becoming a cat lady.
