Sadie is the newest addition to our family. She’s a 2 year old Newfoundland that we’ve had for about 3 1/2 months.
We got Sadie from a rescue organization. They said she had been with a breeder and had been breed twice (only 2 years old!) and was going to get rid of her because she wasn’t caring for her puppies. I just can’t even think of that. Whoever raised her spent time with her because she can sit, down, shake, high five, and behaves herself in the house. We’re still working on jumping on new people and ‘stay’. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog to bring in our house, especially since this is my first dog.
She has the sweetest disposition and wants to be in the same room as Matt or Me at all times (which is fine with me – I always want her around too). She loves to give kisses every chance she gets and will sneak them in if you’re not paying attention. She just starting to play with toys for a couple minutes here and there. I don’t think she ever had the chance before and doesn’t really know what they’re all about.
More stories to come.
I can’t imagine life without her now.
